Ripe For The Picking

The persimmon is a symbol of transformation in Buddhism. The green persimmon is bitter but as the fruit ripens, it becomes sweet. Essentially, an ignorant man becomes wise as he ripens.

Each lamp contains a Marbro sticker. Marbro Lamp Company was one of the most important Mid-Century lamp manufacturers. Not just because the business no longer exists, but because of the gorgeous, quality products the company produced for nearly five decades.

This set of hand painted lamps are made of Italian porcelain. Each lamp holds two bulbs and sits on a wooden base.

The Liberty Bell is an iconic symbol of American Independence. Now you don't have to travel to Philadelphia to get a glimpse of the famous crack.

Though it looks like this Liberty Bell lamp is made of metal and wood it is actually made out of  plaster. The base and the top of the lamp were molded and painted to look like real wood.
