Have you ever wandered into our shop on Sunset and wondered "where did they find such an awesome ________?" Unfortunately, we know of no such vintage mecca brimming with Eames chairs and Milo Baughman credenzas. Instead, we have to search far + wide to bring you the eclectic collection of unique furniture you see on our site and in-store.

We have scoured estate sales and antique stores from morning to night and have even crossed state lines in order to keep the store stocked with vintage items we know you'll love. How do we know you'll love them? Because WE love them. We would (and sometimes do) put these items into our own homes.

Set of Four Mid-Century White Fiberglass Patio Chairs

Spring has sprung which can only mean one thing, lots of time outdoors. Whether you are sipping mojitos with the girls, playing board games with your tots, or soaking up morning rays with a cup of hot joe, these chairs are just what the doctor ordered.

Each of these four mid-century white patio chairs are made of fiberglass and include a funky circular cushion. These comfortable patio chairs are in excellent condition.

Mid-Century Dresser With Mirror by Broyhill

Not only is this lovely dresser in excellent condition but the sculptural design is everything you could ever ask for in a piece of vintage furniture (and more!) The entire Brasilia series by Broyhill is marked by clean lines and raised waves. Series was inspired by the distinct architecture in the city of Brasilia, Brazil and was first featured at the Seattle World's Fair in 1962.

This mid-century dresser by Broyhill is part of the Brasilia series. Dresser has a beautiful raised panel design with 9 drawers, brass drawer pulls and original mirror.

Custom Made Desk With Tusk Shaped Legs

Throughout the animal kingdom, tusks have proven to be very utilitarian appendages indeed. Majestic Treasure | Trunk With Crocodile Embossed Metal Trim

If you happened upon this trunk as a child you might expect to uncover a hidden treasure inside. What your younger self wouldn't realize, however, that a trunk this majestic IS the treasure. What you put inside is the junk you'd rather not have on display such as magazines, linens, and bulky sweaters. Chinoiserie refers to a theme that has occurred in European artistic style since the 17th century. Chinoiserie (as the name suggests) reflects Chinese artistic influences. Let's Go Trojans | Pair of 1950s Trojan Helmet Lamps

Traveler, the white horse with a Trojan warrior astride, is arguably one of the most notable college mascots in history. First appearing in 1961, Traveler has appeared at every home football game at USC since. Traveler has even traveled as far as Dallas for the Cotton Bowl in 1995. "Let's go Trojans, let's go!" Each of these 1950s trojan helmet lamps is made of plaster.

Farm to Table | Antique Oak Farm Table

Your favorite part of visiting your hometown (besides seeing how rotund your laid-back classmates have become) is your mama's home-cooked country breakfast. Before you had a chance to wipe the sleep from your eyes, your mama had plucked eggs from the coop, flipped a dozen hot cakes, and squeezed fresh oranges in to a decanter. Farm to table was your mama's motto even before it was a fad. Use this antique oak farm table as a square breakfast table or pull out the 12 inch extensions from either end to fit a family of six. Ancient Art Form | Pair of Round 1960s Mosaic Tables

Mosaics are an ancient art form dating as far back as the second half of 3rd millennium BC. Early excavations revealed mosaics that were comprised of colored stones, shells and ivory. Each of these round 1960s mosaic tables has retro legs. One table has tile with varying shades of green and the other table has tile in varying shades of cream brown. Place these tables on either side of platform bed or use as small coffee tables.

Infuse Your Home With Some "Silverlake Style"

While pinning to our new Pinterest board "Silverlake Style," I came across this picture from Elle Decor magazine. Nice, right?

The title of this Elle Decor spread is "Morrocco Moderne" and the residents of the featured home are an American couple who moved from a medina in Marrakech to the city's Art Deco district. They brought with them an aesthetic of French Flair.

What struck my fancy most about this picture was that it seems to sum up what every home in Silverlake currently looks like (or aspires to look like.) Like any well-designed room, this room has a distinct formula. Whether you live in Silverlake (the hippest neighborhood in the US) or the Art Deco district of Marrakech, you can recreate this fantastic look in your home with the help of Casa Victoria. Let's begin!

1. Pair of Club Chairs

Unfortunately, this pair of low back naugahyde club chairs were sold a while back, but it will give you an idea of what kind of chair to look for.

2. Brass and Glass Coffee Table

This 1970s round glass and brass coffee table may be short but it is most certainly sweet. What it lacks in height, it makes up for in sophistication. This table is still available!

3. Vintage Leather Sofa

This 1980s Italian sofa is a beautiful dark green full grain cow hide and is in excellent condition. It was hand crafted in Italy and has a slightly curved back. Still available!

4. Industrial Reading Lamp (or an Arc Lamp would work well too)

This 1970s adjustable chrome reading lamp has a pivoting arm that also extends out. The foot switch allows you to turn the lamp on without moving a finger, literally.

5. Portraits of Peculiar Looking People

Are they royalty? Are they peasants? One will never know.

Declaration of Love | Casa Victoria Owner Stumbles Across an Endearing Love Letter

A soul-mate was something you thought only existed in fairytales. Despite your disastrous dating history, we have proof that you might find your Prince Charming some day. While polishing this beautiful pine dresser a few days ago, Robert (the owner of Casa Victoria) came across a folded up piece of paper tucked behind one of the drawers. Upon opening the piece of paper, Robert was shocked to find a sweet love letter written years ago:

Like this Woodland Dresser, every furniture piece at Casa Victoria has a wonderful story. Though this particular dresser will never a make mid-century furniture collector's head spin, it does make everyone at Casa Victoria feel good to know that everything we carry has an intricately woven history. Every piece was once loved by its previous owner and will certainly be cherished by its future owner.
