Stone's Throw Away | Marbro Murano Glass Lamp

Those who live in Murano glass houses shouldn't throw stones. Who would want to risk breaking such beautifully crafted Venetian glass? This Venetian glass lamp, made by Marbro,  was handblown from Murano glass and overlaid with metal grill work. The Marbro Lamp Company was started in LA by Morris Markoff and his brothers after WWII. Most of the lamps they made were one of a kind and took anywhere from 70-90 days to make. Marbro only hired the most experienced artisans so many of their employees were over 50 years of age.
