Kent Coffey Co, a popular mid-century furniture brand, was owned by Harold Coffey. Coffey was a major influence in the North Carolina furniture industry during the early twentieth century. Not only was Coffey a friend and neighbor of furniture icons James Broyhill and John Bernhardt, but he was also their competitor.
